Join us for the launch of VOX's 28th season with a concert that delivers a significant and timely message right on the eve of the election! Banned!

The Ebell of Los Angeles

Sunday, March 23rd, 2025 at 4PM

Experience the power of forbidden literature with VOX as we boldly shine a light on stories being silenced across the U.S. at an alarming rate. Books like Toni Morrison's “Beloved," Juno Dawson's "This Book is Gay!" and the classic "Alice in Wonderland" receive new life through music adaptation. The concert also features a new commission from composer Jennifer Lucy Cook inspired by Margaret Atwood’s electrifying novel, “The Handmaid’s Tale.”

Be a part of the movement, challenge the status-quo, and experience thought-provoking art!

Weather the Storm

First Congregational Church of Los Angeles

Sunday, June 8, 2025 at 4PM

VOX honors the fifth anniversary of the murder of George Floyd in this moving concert featuring the treble choir World Premiere of Rollo Dillworth’s “Weather." Join VOX and three-time GRAMMY-nominated vocal activist Melanie DeMore for a concert that invites the audience to not only listen but to explore and acknowledge the ways in which they can make the world a better place. This concert will inspire you to sing, compel you to stand together, and leave you with a renewed sense of hope.
