Last night, I participated in a beautiful and moving staged reading of More Than All the Sky, a new musical with book and lyrics by Lori Ada Jaroslow and music and additional lyrics by Morgan Hollingsworth. I played the role of Mae, the mother of a young woman who is trapped in the grips of addiction. It was a sometimes difficult story to tell but wrapped up in a memorable and cathartic end, carried along by sublime music and performances.
