My first job out of college was making copies and sending faxes all day in a windowless room at a law firm in Nashville. One thing that brought me sunshine was listening to this young Norwegian indie artist on repeat. When he came to play Nashville, I was there. Fifteen years later, here I am lending my voice to his newest track! Thank you The Silver Lake Chorus and Sondre Lerche for this lovely musical moment. 💜
Repost from @tslchorus:
✨Extremely humbled and excited to announce our latest feature on the single “Slip Into Character” by Sondre Lerche, out TODAY! ✨This collaboration was one of the fastest turn arounds we’ve ever been a part of and we are so proud of it! 🔥 From the moment we were asked to collaborate, to the choral arrangement by our own Bibby Halvorson, to our first rehearsal a few days later and final rehearsal a week later, to then recording it the NEXT evening, to now—the release, less than a month later! 😅 All in all, this was accomplished in 5 short weeks. No easy feat for 18 or so singers with crazy schedules (TRUST US). ✨Congratulations to Sondre + the whole team for making it happen! 💗
It came out beautifully, if we do say so ourselves 😉
Link to song in bio, check it out ✨
